The problem ...

Are you ...
- Out at work all day
- Laid up through sickness or getting over an illness
- Unable to walk the dog
- Fed up coming home to a scene of destruction, chewed shoes, or tipped over bins?

Sometimes we take our dogs for granted, thinking they are happy just waiting for us. However, they need physical and mental stimulation during the day or they may become bored, anxious or destructive.

Even a one hour walk can help prevent minor behavioural problems that can occur through isolation, boredom or lack of exercise.

The solution ...

I will ...
- Meet with you and your dog(s)
- Agree the most suitable service for your dog’s needs
- Agree a contract specifying the day(s) and time(s) for walking.

Let me walk, train and play with your dog when you are unable to.

I operate in the South & East Belfast and North Down areas

While in my care your dog will have full insurance cover.
I am a member of the National Association of Registered Petsitters.
The security of your home and your dog is paramount. I have had a full police check to show that my honesty and integrity is beyond question.

Cost

The cost depends on whether you have one dog or two:

1-dog-rate:
1/2 hour £7, 1 hour £12;

2-dog-rate: (for the pair)
1/2 hour £10, 1 hour £20

Walk

Your dog will be walked from your home, or driven (in a specially equipped van) to a suitable area for exercise.
Unlike many walkers who “pack walk” many dogs at once, I walk, train and play with no more than two dogs at a time guaranteeing them full attention.
With your agreement the walk can be off-lead allowing for socialisation with other friendly dogs.

Training

Basic training will be given during the walk, using kind, motivational and reward-based methods.
A little training and a lot of play helps keep your dog healthy and happy. When finished he will get a good rub down and his paws cleaned before returning home happy and content.

Home Visit

What dog doesn't enjoy company? I will visit your dog at his home, feed him if required, have some play-time or just sit and be a companion for him in your absence.

Testimonials

  • “Liz has been a client and friend for at least the last twenty years with her German Shepherd dogs. I would describe her as a dedicated, caring, competent and above all knowledgeable owner and breeder of dogs.

I would have no hesitation in saying that I believe Liz to be the ideal person to be caring for and walking other people’s dogs.

Over many years she has been very supportive of any work that I have carried out raising money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People ... and has been more than helpful on each and every occasion that we have held an Open Day at the Earlswood Veterinary Hospital.”

Des Thompson OBE, BA, MVB, MRCVS
  • “I have known Liz for the past 9 years through the City of Belfast Dog Training Club. As Chairman I have watched Liz move up within the club from member to committee member, trainer and secretary of the club. In this time she has taken and passed a dog psychology course.

I have always found Liz to be honest, trustworthy and hard-working, giving 100% in everything she does.”
